Nicola returned this month following a year’s maternity leave and Marie is also back on deck after almost a year away.
Aurora App kept up-to-date for ongoing support. Domestic violence unfortunately continues to dominate the news. Last year Komosion created Aurora, an award-winning iOS and Android app to assist people identify whether they are in an abusive relationship and, if so, let them know what their options are – including a help-to-call button to reach friends or the police.

More than 65% of Australians now have smartphones and two-thirds of them access the mobile web multiple times a day. One in three smartphone owners have 21-50 apps on their phone. As part of our regular development of our technology offering, Komosion is progressing on the next upgrade to the Komodo CMS platform: v7.2. Key feature upgrades on Performance Improvements, Analytics Integration and more Editor Tools. A modest licence fee increase, in line with CPI, will be introduced from January 2014.
In Australia, Adoption is a complex and very under resourced area: There were only 502 adoptions in the 2003-4 year. Almost 10 years later, this number has dwindled to just 315. National Adoption Awareness Week occurs each year and is a global event to advocate for awareness of the issues surrounding Adoption. Komosion has proudly provided on going support to this community of advocates, founded by Deborra-Lee Furness, for many years.
