Strategic Digital Marketing Agency Komosion invests in Drupal
The company has hired Christopher Skene, founder of the highly regarded DrupalGov conference held annually in Canberra and formerly the technical architect for the Drupal distribution powering the Australian Government’s new govCMS service.
The Commonwealth Government is planning to migrate anywhere between 400 and 1,000 of its agency websites to the govCMS platform in coming years.
Komosion’s Managing Director John O’Neill said he believed the decision of the Federal Government to adopt Drupal would rapidly feed through to other tiers of Government as well as the private sector.
“One of our clients is Flight Centre - a $16 billion plus global business - which recently opted for Drupal to replace its previous IBM web publishing platform.”

Komosion will rebuild its web publishing platform, Komodo CMS, on the Drupal platform in FY15-16 with more details on the benefits for existing and new clients to be announced shortly.
