Rugby World Cup Microsite - Responsive web design, Development

The Solution

The project involved undertaking stakeholder research and a full User Experience Analysis to identify a customer focused solution that would drive retail sales.

The UX and Creative Team then developed responsive wireframes and engaging designs that were presented to the client for approval with the Rugby World Cup governing body. We adopted a ‘mobile first’ methodology designing for mobile devices and then adopting designs for desktop and tablets.

The Result

The new designs featured prominent emotive imagery, the use of brand colour palette and strong calls to action to assist customers in purchasing packages. The variety of travel packages were displayed to reflect the insights captured during the stakeholder research. The new website effectively rendered on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

The site was developed by Komosion’s technical team on the Drupal Content Management System and featured live chat and interfaces to the call centre and travel agent network.
